HRS §674-15.5

This law does not change who owns land

This section says that nothing in this chapter changes who owns land or how land is transferred in Hawaii. It also does not create any doubt or problem about land ownership, including for Hawaiian home lands. It is a narrow rule that only protects existing land titles.
