Procurement exemptions

This section lets the commission buy food or fuel without following the usual state procurement law, but it must still file any required reports about those contracts. It only covers contracts needed for the commission's work.

Contracts made by the commission for the procurement of food or fuel products necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter shall be exempt from chapter 103D; provided that the commission shall continue to comply with any reporting requirements under chapter 103D or rules adopted thereunder for contracts entered into pursuant to this section.
