HRS §78-31

Paid time off for school meetings

Workers can take up to two hours of paid time off during work hours to go to parent-teacher or parent-caregiver conferences for their children. This time does not count against vacation or sick leave, but it must not disrupt work or cost the agency extra money. You can do this for up to two conferences per child each year.
