Arrest by spoken order when someone runs away
If someone commits a crime and tries to run away, a police officer can arrest them if a judge gives a spoken order. If no judge is around, the officer can arrest without any order. This section only covers arrests made by oral order or without an order.

Where a breach of the peace or other offense has been committed, and the offender endeavors to escape, the offender may be arrested by virtue of an oral order of any magistrate, or without the order, if no magistrate is present.
