HRS §804-6

Bail bond continues after conviction unless court says otherwise

After a defendant is convicted, their existing bail bond stays in effect for later court proceedings unless the judge orders a change. This applies only when bail is allowed after conviction, either automatically or by court order. The bond remains until the case is fully finished.
