HRS §841-12
Moving a dead body without permission
This section says that if someone dies in a way that requires a coroner's investigation, no one can move or disturb the body without getting permission from the coroner, the police officer in charge, and the coroner's physician. The coroner is responsible for removing the body. Violating this rule can lead to a fine.
