Investment personnel

This section lets the retirement board's executive director hire investment officers to work under the chief investment officer. The board sets their duties, qualifications, and pay. These officers do not have to follow the state's regular civil service hiring rules.

The board may, through its executive director, appoint one or more investment officers, under the direction of the chief investment officer, prescribing their duties and qualifications and fixing their salaries, who shall be exempt from chapter 76.
