HRS §94-4
Who can certify copies of state records and what it costs
This section lets the state comptroller and the state archivist (or whoever keeps the state archives) certify copies of government records in their care as true and correct. They set the copying and certification fees based on the actual cost. No fee is charged when the work is for a federal, state, or county government department.
