When a foreign estate representative can be sued in Hawaii

This section says that a person handling a deceased person's estate from another state can be sued in Hawaii courts just like the deceased person could have been before they died. It adds to other rules about court authority.

The statute, as written — Jurisdiction by act of decedent

In addition to jurisdiction conferred by section 560:4-301, a foreign personal representative is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of this State to the same extent that the decedent was subject to jurisdiction immediately prior to death.
