HRS §88-54.5
Retirement system membership for Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustees
This section lets certain Office of Hawaiian Affairs trustees join the state retirement system. It sets different rules for trustees serving in 2002, those elected later, and those who already retired. It also allows credit for past trustee service, but not for trustees who retired before 2002.
