Board approval for office projects and loans

This section says the board must approve any office project, loan program, or revenue bond issuance by passing a resolution. The resolution can be passed at the same meeting where it is introduced, and it takes effect right away.

The statute, as written — Authorization of office projects and loan programs; issuance of revenue bonds

Authorization of acquisition, purchase, construction, reconstruction, improvement, betterment, extension, or maintenance of an office project or projects or the establishment, funding, and administration of any loan program, and authorization for issuance of revenue bonds under this part shall be by resolution or resolutions of the board. The resolution may be adopted at the same meeting at which it is introduced by a majority of all the members of the board then in office and shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
