Public access to procurement records

This section says that government records about buying goods or services are open to the public under the state's open records law. However, any discussions or decisions that the law says must stay confidential are not subject to open meeting rules.

Government records relating to procurement shall be available to the public as provided in chapter 92F. Part I of chapter 92 shall not apply to discussions, deliberations, or decisions required to be conducted or made confidentially under this chapter. [L Sp 1993, c 8, pt of §2; am L 1995, c 178, §4]
