Reporting deadline

If a reporting deadline lands on a weekend or state holiday, it moves to the next day that is not a weekend or holiday. This section only sets that rule; it does not change what must be reported or when.

The statute, as written — Reporting deadline

When any reporting deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday designated in section 8-1, the reporting deadline shall be the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday.
