HRS §11-384
What happens to leftover campaign money
This law says what a candidate and their campaign committee must do with leftover campaign money after an election. It sets deadlines for returning money to donors, allows some uses of the money, and says unreturned money goes to the state election fund. It also requires the committee to end its registration after handling the money.
