Pay for election officials on election day

Election officials who work on election day get paid according to a pay schedule set by the chief election officer. The schedule is part of official rules. This section only covers how their pay is determined.

The statute, as written — Compensation

Election officials under the supervision and control of the office of elections on election day shall be compensated pursuant to a schedule established by the chief election officer. The schedule shall be contained in rules adopted pursuant to chapter 91.
