Punishment for conspiracy under military law

This section says that if a person covered by this chapter agrees with someone else to commit a crime under this chapter, and at least one of them takes a step to carry out the plan, that person can be punished by a court-martial.

The statute, as written — Conspiracy

Any person subject to this chapter who conspires with any other person to commit an offense under this chapter shall, if one or more of the conspirators does an act to affect the object of the conspiracy, be punished as directed by a court-martial.
