Punishment for damaging non-military property

This section says that anyone covered by this chapter who intentionally or recklessly damages, wastes, or destroys property that is not U.S. or state military property can be punished by a court-martial. The punishment is decided by that court.

Any person subject to this chapter who wilfully or recklessly wastes, spoils, or otherwise wilfully and wrongfully destroys or damages any property other than military property of the United States or of the State shall be punished as directed by a court-martial.
