Extra penalties for actions that break other laws too

If someone does something that this chapter forbids, and the same action is also against another law, they can be punished under both this chapter and the other law. This means they may face separate penalties for the same conduct.

If conduct prohibited by or under the authority of this chapter is also made unlawful by another or other laws, the offender may be convicted as provided in this chapter and for the violation of the other law or laws.
