HRS §132C-7
When cigarettes can be made or sold without meeting Hawaii's rules
This section says that a person can make or sell cigarettes that do not meet Hawaii's requirements if those cigarettes are stamped for sale in another state or are meant to be sold outside the United States. It only covers this exemption, not other rules.
The statute, as written — Exemption
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit any person from manufacturing or selling cigarettes that do not meet the requirements of this chapter, if the cigarettes are or will be stamped for sale in another state or are to be sold outside the United States.
