Donated food cannot be sold

This law says that no one may sell or try to sell food that was given away under this chapter. If someone breaks this rule, they can be fined up to $1,000.

The statute, as written — Sale of donated food, prohibited; fines

(a) No person or organization shall sell, or offer for sale, any food product donated or distributed under this chapter. (b) Any violation of this section is punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000.
