Rules for advertising meat grades and origins

The Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity can make rules about how slaughterers, wholesalers, and retailers advertise the grade, inspection, and origin of beef, pork, or poultry carcasses they sell. This applies to all carcasses, no matter where they come from.

The department of agriculture and biosecurity may regulate advertising in regard to grading, inspection, and origin of carcasses or parts thereof by slaughterers, wholesalers, and retailers of beef, pork, or poultry carcasses offered for sale, regardless of the origin of such carcasses.
