Working with other agencies on pesticide rules
This section lets the department work with state, federal, and other agencies to carry out pesticide laws. It also requires the University of Hawaii and other educational groups to teach people about safe pesticide use and to ask the department for technical help.

The statute, as written — Cooperation
The department is authorized and empowered to cooperate with and enter into agreements with any agency of the State, the federal government, or any other agency for the purpose of carrying out this chapter. The University of Hawaii cooperative extension service and other educational agencies shall provide educational programs aimed at assisting users and prospective users of pesticides and shall solicit the aid of the department in providing technical assistance and advice on the authorized use of pesticides.
