Ballots where voting machines are used

This section says that in places using voting machines, the usual ballot rules still apply, but the official in charge decides how many ballots to print and what type. That official may use a reasonable copy of the sample ballot from voting machine areas.

The statute, as written — Ballots; where voting machines are used

In all districts in which voting machines are used, sections 15-1 to 15-12 shall apply; provided that the number and type of ballots to be printed shall be determined at the discretion of the officer charged with printing and furnishing them. The officer may use reasonable facsimiles of the sample ballot used in voting machine precincts.
