Swearing to a complaint about a violation
When someone reports a violation of this law or its rules to a prosecutor, the inspector who wrote the citation and summons must swear under oath that the complaint is true. This section only covers that oath requirement.
The statute, as written — Administration of oath
When a complaint is made to any prosecuting officer of the violation of the provisions of this chapter or the rules promulgated and adopted pursuant thereto, the inspector who issued the citation and summons shall subscribe to the complaint under oath.
