Handling ballots after counting

When election workers handle ballots after the votes are counted, at least two assigned officials must be present. This rule makes sure ballot handling is watched and done properly.

In every case where the ballots are handled by election officials or election employees for disposition upon completion of the tabulation, they shall be handled in the presence of not less than two officials assigned in accordance with section 16-45.
