How the state can get land for an industrial park

The board can get land for an industrial park by trading, buying, or taking it through eminent domain. This can happen even if the land is owned by private people or other public agencies. The process must follow the rules in this chapter.

The board may acquire by exchange, direct purchase, or eminent domain, lands to which private persons or other public agencies hold title for designation as or inclusion in an industrial park. The acquisition of lands shall be in accordance with this chapter.
