Deadline for lease applications after a disaster

If you want to lease land after a natural disaster, you must file your application with the Board of Land and Natural Resources within three months of the disaster. The Board can give you up to three more months if needed.

All applications for a lease shall be filed with the board of land and natural resources within three months after the date of the natural disaster, provided that the board may extend the time for filing applications for an additional period not to exceed three months.
