Moving live wild or feral deer between islands is banned

This law bans moving live wild or feral deer between Hawaiian islands, or having, giving, or releasing them after such a move. You can only do this if a state department gives you a permit. Breaking this rule is a crime.

No person shall intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly possess, transfer, transport, or release after transport through interisland movement any live wild or feral deer unless permitted by the department or other department of the State.
