State parks budget requests each year

The Department of Land and Natural Resources must send its yearly budget estimates to the finance director, as required by state law. These estimates must include how much money the department needs to run the state parks system.

The department of land and natural resources shall submit to the director of finance, annually, the budgetary estimates and information required by chapter 40 and shall include therein estimates of the financial requirements of the department for the operation of a state parks system as provided by this part.
