Creating and changing conservation districts

The Department of Land and Natural Resources can set up conservation districts in each county and change their boundaries when needed. It can also declare all waters in a county as a conservation district if it thinks that is necessary.

The department of land and natural resources may establish and from time to time modify the limits of one or more conservation districts in each county and may, if it deems necessary, declare all waters within any county a conservation district.
