Breaking these rules is a petty misdemeanor

If you break any rule in this chapter or any rule made under it, you commit a petty misdemeanor. If found guilty, you will be punished as the law says. This section sets the penalty for violations.

The statute, as written — General penalty

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter, or any rule adopted pursuant to this chapter, shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as provided by law.
