Recording conservation easement documents

This section says that any document that creates, assigns, or transfers a conservation easement must be recorded in the state's land records office. The document must follow all the rules for recording property documents in Hawaii.

The statute, as written — Recordation

Instruments creating, assigning, or otherwise transferring conservation easements shall be recorded in the bureau of conveyances, or the land court, as the case may be, and such instruments shall be subject in all respects to the requirements of chapters 501 and 502.
