How trails and access points are classified

The department must sort every trail and access point in its inventory by what it is used for, what type it is, its theme, how much it is used now and should be used, and any other category the department thinks is useful.

The department shall classify each trail and access in the inventories according to the following: (1) Function; (2) Type; (3) Theme; (4) Actual and desired use intensity; and (5) Any other classification deemed necessary or desirable by the department.
