Housing loan programs; general powers

This section gives the housing corporation broad authority to make and enforce contracts needed for its housing loan programs. It may also require borrowers to make promises and guarantees to protect the loans. It does not set specific rules for borrowers.

The statute, as written — Housing loan programs; general powers

(a) The corporation may make, enter into, and enforce all contracts or agreements that are necessary, convenient, or desirable in the performance of its duties in executing the housing loan programs. (b) The corporation may require representations and warranties as it determines necessary to secure its loans.
