Payments to public bodies

This section lets the Board of Land and Natural Resources agree to pay the State or a county (and those governments can accept the money) if the Board thinks the payment helps achieve the goals of this chapter. It is a narrow rule about who can pay and receive money.

The board of land and natural resources may agree to make such payments to the State, or any political subdivision thereof (which payments such bodies may accept), as the board finds consistent with the achievement of the purposes of this chapter.
