Creating the Kalaeloa community development district

(a) The federal Department of Defense declared approximately two thousand one hundred fifty acres of land at the Barbers Point Naval Air Station to be surplus to its needs and under a base realignment is conveying these surplus lands to the various end users identified by the community reuse plan. The governor has approved and forwarded to the Navy the community reuse plan for these surplus lands. (b) The legislature hereby designates these surplus lands as the "Kalaeloa community development district".
