How legislative expense money is paid out

This section says that money set aside for the legislature under this chapter is paid from funds the legislature has already approved. It is paid the same way as other legislative expenses, as long as it follows this chapter's rules.

The statute, as written — Appropriation and payment

Moneys provided by the allowances and funds authorized by this chapter shall be paid out of any available appropriation made by the legislature for expenses of the house concerned in the same manner as other expenses of the legislature not inconsistent with this chapter.
