No exclusive rights to use airports or airspace

The state transportation department cannot give any one person or company the sole right to use an airport, airspace, or air navigation facility it controls. However, it can still make contracts, leases, and other agreements allowed by another law.

The department of transportation shall grant no exclusive right for the use of an airway, landing area, or air navigation facility under its jurisdiction. This section shall not prevent the making of contracts, leases, and other arrangements pursuant to section 261-7.
