Contracts made while flying count as made on the ground

This section says that any contract or legal agreement a pilot or passenger makes while flying over Hawaii is treated as if it was made on the ground below. This makes it clear which state's laws apply to those agreements.

The statute, as written — Jurisdiction over contracts

All contractual and other legal relations entered into by aeronauts or passengers while in flight over the State shall have the same effect as if entered into on the land or water beneath.
