Conflict between laws

This section says that if a state rule in this chapter disagrees with a federal law or regulation about metropolitan planning organizations, the federal rule wins. It is a narrow rule about which law to follow in a conflict.

If a conflict between any provision of this chapter and any federal law or regulation relating to metropolitan planning organizations arises, federal law or regulation shall govern.
