Reporting license violations to prosecutors

This section says that if your liquor license is taken away or paused because you broke the law, the liquor commission or administrator must tell the prosecutor. The prosecutor then decides whether to bring charges. It is a short, procedural rule.

The statute, as written — Reports to prosecuting officers

When the revocation or suspension of any license is by reason of any violation of law the liquor commission or the administrator shall report the facts to the prosecuting officer for prosecution.
