Getting your bond or deposit back after replacing it

The administrator must cancel your old bond or insurance certificate, or return your money or securities, once you provide new proof of financial responsibility that the administrator accepts. This section only covers what happens when you substitute one proof for another.

The administrator shall consent to the cancellation of any bond or certificate of insurance or the administrator shall return any money or securities to the person entitled thereto upon the substitution and acceptance of other adequate proof of financial responsibility pursuant to this chapter.
