Repair shops can sell or dispose of abandoned vehicles

This section lets a motor vehicle repair business sell or get rid of a vehicle that someone left on its property. It only covers vehicles abandoned at the repair shop. The business or its authorized representative can do this under the rules in this part.

When any person abandons a motor vehicle upon the premises of a motor vehicle repair business, the owner of the business or the owner's authorized representative may sell or dispose of the vehicle in accord with this part.
