Obeying police traffic orders is required

This law makes it a crime to deliberately ignore or refuse a police officer's lawful traffic order. If you do, you can be charged with a petty misdemeanor. It applies to anyone on the road.

It shall be a petty misdemeanor for any person to wilfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any police officer invested by law with authority to direct, control, or regulate traffic.
