Authority to secure federal funds

This section lets the Department of Education, the charter school commission, charter school authorizers, the finance director, and the governor do whatever is needed to get federal money for the purposes in the related sections. It does not require anyone to do anything.

The department, the state public charter school commission, a charter school authorizer, director of finance, and governor may take such steps and perform such acts as may be necessary or proper to secure any such federal funds for the purposes specified in sections 302A-1401 and 302A-1402.
