How the state can get school buildings and land
The Department of Education can make deals to buy or lease school buildings and land. It needs the finance director's approval for the terms. This section only gives that permission.

The department may enter into such contracts, leases, lease-purchase agreements, or other transactions as may be necessary for the acquisition of public school facilities, including any lands for these facilities, on such terms as it may deem appropriate with the concurrence of the director of finance.
