Starting a program to license school and department marks

This section creates a program inside the Department of Education that lets the Department or a school license its own marks (like logos or names). The Department can make licensing agreements under this program and follow any rules adopted under another section.

The statute, as written — Mark licensing agreement program; established

(a) There is established within the department a mark licensing agreement program to allow the department and a department school to license, as applicable, the department's or department school's marks. (b) The department may enter into licensing agreements pursuant to this part and any rules adopted pursuant to section 302A-1905.
