Penalty for lying in a caregiver consent form

If a caregiver lies in the required caregiver consent affidavit, they can be punished. The punishment is the same as the penalties listed in part V of chapter 710 of the state laws.

The statute, as written — Penalties

Any caregiver who makes a false statement in the affidavit for caregiver consent required under section 302A-482, shall be subject to the penalties under part V of chapter 710.
