State help for teachers seeking national board certification
This section creates a program in the Department of Education to help public school teachers who are trying to get national board certification. The Hawaii teacher standards board is in charge of setting up and running the program.

(a) There is created in the department, a national board certification support program to provide assistance to any teacher in a public school who becomes a candidate for national board certification. (b) The Hawaii teacher standards board shall develop, implement, and administer the program.
