How the department can test student progress

The Department of Education is allowed to use different tests and methods to check how well students are learning and to see if the teaching methods in the Hawaiian language medium education program are working.

The department of education may develop and use multiple assessment strategies and instruments to assess student achievement and performance and to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and methods being used in the Hawaiian language medium education program.
